Introduction to Industrial Economics and Organization (7,5 ECTS)

This doctoral course aims at providing the participants with an understanding of Industrial Economics and Organization (IEM – in Scandinavia IEM is used
for industrial engineering and management) as an academic subject compared to other, similar academic subjects. The course also aims at
developing the PhD-candidates’ understanding of IEM PhD-programs in Sweden (and possibly Scandinavia, depending on the participants) and
prepare him/her for life in Academia by bringing up aspects such as the structure of Higher Education locally and nationally, the academic
practices of writing and publishing, and how to give and take feedback on academic work.
